Shaun was born and raised in Kenya, spending his childhood among the tea fields of Kericho and misty rainforests of the Mau. This early connection to East Africa’s landscapes and wildlife shaped a lifelong commitment to the natural world. After completing his studies abroad, he returned home to immerse himself in conservation-minded tourism, managing leading lodges in the Maasai Mara and Chyulu Hills—two of Kenya’s most important ecosystems.
Driven by a desire to explore, understand, and share the continent’s wild spaces, Shaun became a professional safari guide and expedition leader. For over a decade he has led journeys across Africa, whether on foot or horseback, by helicopter, or from the open door of a land cruiser. His guiding style blends deep ecological knowledge with a storyteller’s instinct, offering guests a meaningful connection to the wildlife, cultures, and conservation efforts that define each landscape.
An avid sportsman and passionate photographer, Shaun brings an infectious sense of adventure to everything he does. His dedication to Africa—its people, its wildlife, and its future—is evident in the care he brings to every expedition. As an ambassador, he champions thoughtful conservation, community empowerment, and the protection of the wilderness that inspired his life’s work.
