At 10:30pm yesterday, the Kenyan Parliament passed the long-awaited Wildlife Bill, which upon signing by the President, will become the new Wildlife Act.
Many years in the making, the bill enforces far more harsh penalties for poachers and dealers in the country.
This is just the kind of support that the animals of Kenya, and those engaged in the battle to protect these animals, need.
