Legacy Giving in Canada 🇨🇦

Big Life Foundation Canada is a registered charitable organization in Canada (Charity No: 82252 3288 RR0001), allowing Canadian donors to make tax-efficient legacy gifts while supporting conservation efforts in East Africa.

How to Include Big Life Canada in Your Will:

  • You can leave a fixed amount or a percentage of your estate (residuary bequest) to Big Life Foundation Canada.

“I give [£X or X% of my estate] to Big Life UK, (Charity No. 115877) C/O Chapel & York Ltd of Unit 12, Ladycross Business Park, Hollow Lane, Dormansland, Surrey, RH7 6PB, United Kingdom, for its general charitable purposes and the receipt of the Honorary treasurer or the proper officer for the time being of Big Life UK shall be a complete discharge to my trustee.”

An additional clause should also be added stating:

“If at my death any charity named as a beneficiary in this Will or any Codicil hereto has changed its name or amalgamated with or transferred its assets to another body then my executors shall give effect to any gift made to such charity as if it had been made:

(a) to the body in its changed name; or

(b) to the body which results from such amalgamation or to which such transfer has been made”
