This area has always been the hot spot for elephant poaching due to several reasons: being so close to the Tanzania border, the dense habitat, and a favored grazing ground for elephant from the park and from Mount Kilimanjaro.

Vehicle: Land Cruiser shared with Esiteti outpost.

Position: On the edge of the Kitenden Wildlife corridor, linking Amboseli with Mount Kilimanjaro. Works closely with Big Life Tanzania outposts on cross border-issues.
